Room 800

So almost completely moved in to the dorm, and tonight's my first night sleeping here. It's amazing and scary at all the same time. Everyone is super sweet but it's very overwhelming, and I'm still really worried about Rush starting Sunday. Everyone else seems so comfortable already so trying to act normal. On the plus side our dorm is the biggest on the floor!
Here's me chilling at my desk:

More to come!

P.S-Apparently South Tower (my dorm) has theme floors. Our floor is "SoTo girls are sweet" and there are pictures of cupcakes literally everywhere, lol cute?

The time has finally arrived for our parting. After 5 years of constant bickering and bantering, we will no longer be just a ten minute drive from each other. B is leaving for South Carolina tomorrow, which will be a good 9 hours away...too far to hop on over after school. It's sad to think about, but at the same time we'll still be together. With skype and facebook, nothing will change that much...just no more chats outside Starbucks gossiping about boys and scandals.

Here's an interesting fact. B did not like me when we first met. I transferred from a different middle school, and she...well she was a bitch. She continued to be rude and sassy, until I...what did I do again? Something about PE class, and timing her run. True fact. She's a sassy one to new people. Good thing I'm so friendly ;)
2008 Spring break to Italy. Glad we learned about appearances in high school.

The Excellent Timing That is My Life

I leave for USC this Friday at 5 in the morning. THIS FRIDAY. What the heck.
Amongst disturbing amounts of packing and seeing some friends for likely the last time, my life has turned into a very obnoxious soap opera.
I got into a fender bender a few days ago, bye bye $1000 dollars. Did I mention money doesn't pop out of my ass?
I cannot even begin to get into the guy drama. Because I'm still wondering what the heck is going on.
Save me!

Bonjour mes amies!

I know you haven't heard from me in a while, because I'm doing this all the time.

While secretly I am loathing our customers and being pathetic in my mind.

Why you give me no tip??

Oh and we say hello, and goodbye as J & B embark on our last week together :(

New Adventures of Old Teens

So today, we decided to be adventurous and try new things. First on our list:
Make a Starbucks Coconut Mocha Frappicino. ...checkish...
Sure, we eyeballed the ingredients, and possibly burned the coconut while we were "toasting" them in the toaster oven. B was mocking the toaster oven the entire time, but hello! It's called a toaster oven. For toasting! We also didn't have the whip cream to top it all off...but it was still a half success (according to my sister though, it looked "like barf").

Watch Big Brother? Check for me. Who knew this show was so strategy orientated instead of the showmances on Real World?! I was born to be on that show!

Our next adventure? Looking for a thrifty, authentic place to eat. And the local Panera didn't cut it. We almost stopped at a BBQ stand in the middle of a parking lot (Sketchy) but the prices scared us away. Do you know what didn't scare us away? A taco bar, located in a beer convenience store, located in a gas station!

YAY for grungy, authentic Mexican food! Surprisingly the food was very good for the price we paid (2.69 for a taco? Hell yes.) We'll definitely be back...during our school breaks together.

And to top off our adventures, we got 7-Eleven slushies. It was obviously a crazy day. I know you agree.

Correction: My Dog is my Only Friend

Just a short follow up to the dog blog (lol).

This is how much I love my dog:

My friend bought it for me at beach week!
Of course I can never use this!

Girl's Best Friend

How are we going to leave behind such beautiful puppies?

Say hello to Charlie the superhero. You'll be seeing a lot more of him.

This Bella here already looks like a southern belle.
More importantly, how will they leave us? I can only speak for Charlie, but his favorite place in the entire house is my bed. That giant bastard will even sleep on it when I'm not home. But I know he secretly loved cuddling with me...even though he would crush me in the process. A 75 pound dog doesn't bode too well for a 105 pound girl. But his adorable puppy face is too sad to look at when I leave...let alone imagine what it will look like when he figures out that I'm not coming back.
